At SB&T Graphics we only use high quality name brand products and materials such as 3m and Gerber. This ensures your graphics will have the best look and strongest durability. Inferior films will start to crack or shrink in just a year or two. Most high quality products are guaranteed not to shrink or crack for up to 7 years or more!
There are basically two types of films; Calendared and Cast.
Calendared films are used mostly for indoor applications. They are less expensive than Cast Films and will work well in a controlled environment.
Cast films are very durable, (think of cast as in “Cast Iron”) and are designed for outdoor and vehicle use. They work best on vehicles or any application where it will be exposed to outdoor elements.
The two most common manufacturers of Cast films are 3m and Avery. Both companies produce cast and calendared films, and both have different grades of films.
Paint is rarely used these days for vehicle graphics. Vinyl graphics are much more cost effective and last longer than paint.

The only advantage to canvas sides is if your company is advertising seasonal products that you would want to switch out in the future. Canvas is less durable and fades quicker than conventional vinyl graphics
In order for your decals to set correctly to your vehicles surface, we suggest waiting at least 72 hours before washing your vehicle. We also suggest you avoid using a pressure washer or a drive thru car wash to clean your vehicle.
